How strong would you consider your faith??...
Maybe strong enough to heal a sickness, strong enough to change the course of action for something... Strong enough to move mountains??
It is usually not until out faith is tested that we really stop to ask ourselves just how deep it runs... So often we really just wait for something bad to happen before taking the time to analyze it the strength of our faith, or lack thereof.
I had a friend today, ask me to pray for their faith. So I did, but in doing so, I realized, that I think we all need to pray that God gives us all a greater sense of faith. I mean sure, we all go through difficult things that can make us either, grow in faith, or begin to doubt.
I can say firsthand, that it is just as easy to doubt as it is to believe. But if we can shake off whatever disappointments we may be feeling, we begin to realize that we can either lose nothing, or gain everything with something so small as faith.
In the bible, the disciples asked Jesus, "How can we grow in our faith"? Jesus Replied..."If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, and you say to that mountain 'Move from here to there', it will move... Nothing will be impossible for you."
People so often underestimate the power we have in words through faith. There is just something about the ability to speak faith filled words. The bible says that we are all made in the image of God, and just as God spoke the world into existence with His words, I believe we too have the power to move mountains....
Sure, everyone is faced with their own mountains... we encounter obstacles, trials, bad circumstance, even things which look and seem absolutely impossible. But if you can just give life to your faith, You can say to your mountains, "Move!" and they WILL move. but as long as we continue to hesitate, or doubt our ability to do such things, your mountain will remain there, and you can never really move forward.
Doubt is merely something placed in our path to distract and keep us from living a faith filled life. And if we aren't careful, then ultimately, our bad circumstance, and lack of faith can cloud our future.
RIGHT NOW... God is working behind the scenes in your life, whether or not you choose to believe it is something different. But if you're someone who hasn't been fortunate enough to find a reason to believe, then just know that the answers are there, if you're willing to seek them out. Be a believer, not someone who looks for a reason to doubt.
I know we all have things at some point make us feel like the world is on our shoulders, but if you're facing something that seems impossible, what better time to gain or even strengthen, your faith.
So whether you're someone with an unshaken faith, or someone who chooses not to believe, remember one thing, You cannot lose anything by believing in faith... No more than a child loses in thinking there is really a Santa Clause or Tooth Fairy.
I can't think of anyone who has ever said "I feel so stupid for believing in the tooth fairy" because it doesn't really work like that, we simply grow up, the money under our pillow stops comin, and then our parents tell us it was them the whole time...
So it Goes with God, I might feel a little foolish if I die and find out he doesn't exists, but hey, Real or not, Believing made life easier.. Nothing lost, end of story...
BUT, on the other hand, don't you think you'd feel a heck of a lot more stupid if you die, and God tells you to turn your butt around in the other direction because you didn't believe??...
Bottom line... There is absolutely no harm in wanting something to believe in...
Just because there is not a whole lot of Physical evidence to support the existence of something, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist....
After all, the air we breath cannot be seen, and yet, it is the very thing that sustains OUR existence.... Hebrews 11:1 States " Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we cannot see"....
So declare your faith, Give life to it. And God will in fact help you strengthen your faith so that you too, can move your mountains!!
As Always, Stay in Faith XOXO ~ C
We’re not gonna get life right all the time. We’re imperfect. We’re gonna make mistakes, we’re gonna feel like knuckleheads, and we’re going to in some sense screw things up. Rather than beat ourselves up about it, its so much better to get back up dust ourselves off, and inhale deep breath of fresh air!!! This is where I exhale on all things life!
It's Life ! .... According to me
~ Here you will find a peek through a small window of my life, which never seems to have a dull moment....It's not always pretty, and there's been bumps along my journey, but I wouldn't change any of it for the world....With God at my side, I can do anything...May this find you blessed, and in the best of spirits, & may you find what you seek in life! These... are my memos to the world....
It's all things life!....According to me! ....

Walkin with God
****************************************************************************
Often enough I enjoy a walk every now and then to clear my head, or collect my thoughts. Around a park, walk a pier, even just start walking with no set destination. More often than not, in the event I do take a walk, I have a companion, and walking together, we laugh, joke, even discuss deeper sentiments. Whatever the case, as we walk and talk it gives us the chance to get to know each other better. As time passes, the more we walk, and the more I know the one I walk with, eventually there comes a time when we have less and less to say to one another, and we can just enjoy the walk.
My walk with God though? What about that?? Prayer can completely encompass my verbal communication with God. Just as simply as I can reach out to hold or touch my child to give comfort, I can reach out to God without any words whatsoever. He knows the desires of my heart, as well as the troubles of it as well.
Now I can admit, that even as a christian, my walk with God is not always as perfect as it should or could be. I make mistakes, and I've done things I know would've left me better off if I hadn't. Ultimately though, I know that even if I fall, I have the opportunity to get back up and back on track. That's a very simple aspect of life. Everyone fails at some point, we all lose our step here and there, but it is whether or not you choose to get up... keep going. If you're down, you can either stay that way, or do something about it. Learn from whatever knocked you down in the first place...
*******************************************************************
The more that we focus on our walk with God, the less words are needed, and the more we are able to just enjoy the walk. I read my bible often. Moreso when Im confused, scared, or just in need of the occasional sense of direction. And it is during those times that God puts exactly what I need to see in front of my face.
I.E., Noah and Abraham... Thier walk with the Big Man, was as close to perfect as you can get. So I began to reflect on my own walk.... I then began to realize that I needed to focus on my walk rather than the talk. As I began to do so, I was able to tell a whole lot easier when I would begin to go off in my own direction. Therefore I could Pin-Point my distance from God much faster. Now today, it is definitely more difficult for me to go about my day without being at peace with God. I know that for me to walk with God, and really walk WITH Him, then all of me, Mind, Body, and Soul need to be in order.
So how would you characterize your walk with God-- Comfortable? Close? Distant? Awkward? Take a second to evaluate your walk and try to figure out what could make it more of a natural habit for you. Therefore, as opposed to going off in your own direction, you're led by the best footprints imaginable.!! (=
As Always,
